RIP Sony Cybershot DSC-W55

It is a little on the crazy side, but I noticed that my camera was not working yesterday, and I contacted customer service today to validate my concern. Apparently, it is a hardware issue and I could have it repaired, but this would be at an initially unknown amount. I did not feel comfortable providing credit card information for the online service request form, only to be surprised with a bill being more than the initial camera price. Perhaps I am being a tad dramatic since I can technically take picture, but only without any sort of flash (no full, auto, or slow).
Here comes the crazy part. I ordered my new camera two days ago- note that I ordered the camera before I realized that my point-and-shoot was not working. Perhaps I hurt my Sony Cybershot's "feelings"? Oh, well the camera treated me well while it worked.
RIP Sony Cybershot DSC-W55.
